Scientifically tested
Studies and comparative tests at the
- Humboldt Clinic’s Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine in Berlin
and at the
- Institute for Hygiene and Bio-Technology at the Research Institute Hohenstein have sufficiently tested and proved the antimicrobial effect.
The Institute of Hohenstein confirms a significant to strong antimicrobial effect, i.e. the exponential spread of bacteria on the surface of the fabrics is stopped.
A new comparative study by Trevira has shown that just after a few hours there is significantly less bacteria on drapilux bioactive fabrics than on conventional materials. This means that the amount of times decorative fabrics need to be changed and washed is significantly reduced, whereby the antibacterial properties of the fabric are not lost during washing.
