Mechanism and effect of drapilux akustik
Sound consists of air molecules in motion.
The woven structure of drapilux akustik fabrics creates pores that partly
convert the kinetic energy of the air molecules into heat energy. This means
that part of the sound intensity is reduced, shortening the distance that
sound travels.
The research results of the Fraunhofer Institute confirm the sound-absorbing
effect of our decorative fabrics.
